Philharmonie de Paris in the spot light

A word from Jean Nouvel

Jean Nouvel, the Philharmonie de Paris architect, shares his design ambitions for Paris’ future great auditorium.

The architect

Jean Nouvel was born on August 12, 1945 in Fumel, France. His architecture is powerfully expressive, which he achieves by focusing on a few key elements. Nouvel seeks pure sensation and bases his projects on a single, powerful concept.
